Two Day Southern Daintree

Day 1 - Daintree Southern Fringes

• 0900: Enjoy a swim and a walk in the rainforest at Mossman Gorge or a guided drift snorkel on the Mossman River with Back Country Bliss Adventures.
• 1200: Lunch in Mossman at one of the local cafes.
• 1330: Drive to the Daintree River and join an afternoon Daintree River cruise with Bruce Belcher’s Daintree River Cruises.
• 1530: Continue to Daintree Village and explore the galleries and shops of the village, the parks and the public landing on the river.
• 1600: Check into your local accommodation.

Day 2 - Daintree River and Daintree Village

• 0900: Drive through the scenic valley beyond Daintree Village, stop and talk to the cows, park along the river and look for the elusive Great-billed Heron or other of the many bird species seen in the Daintree Valley, or take an 8WD off-road rainforest tour.
• 1100: Enjoy a self-guided walk to a beautiful waterfall and swimming hole at Cassowary Falls, on the Upper Daintree Road.
• 1300: Return to Port Douglas or Cairns
