The farmhouse and 5 cabins overlook tropical fruit orchards, and Mount Sorrow, at the base of a magnificent mountain range. Each cabin has a private bathroom and deck. Guests are welcome to wander through the orchards and enjoy the fresh fruit in season.
Cooking and laundry facilities are available to guests in the Farmhouse. The Farmhouse is the central meeting place. Enjoy a cup of tea/coffee and fruit on the palm-lined veranda. Prepare a meal in the farmhouse kitchen or in the wood fired pizza oven.
There are more than 50 different species of fruit trees on this tropical fruit farm from South-East Asia, South America and the Caribbean. The main commercial crops are Durian, Mangosteen and Rambutan.
Hosts, Colin and Dawn Gray, are among the longer-term residents of Cape Tribulation and replete with a depth of local knowledge. The Farmstay has become popular as central, relaxed, and friendly accommodation in the heart of Cape Tribulation.
