Destination Daintree

Daintree Valley Haven

Imagine a peaceful 30-acre tropical hideaway with lush tropical gardens and rainforest filled with birdsong and the gentle sounds of nature, far from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Three very private, modern, self-catering B&B bungalows, fully self-contained with ensuite, air-conditioning, kitchenette and verandah overlooking a natural dam and rainforest. A perfect retreat for couples with a maximum of 3 guests per bungalow. (Not suitable for children under 12)

A bird-lover's Paradise visited by over 140 species of seasonal tropical birds, tropical butterflies, moths, frogs, wallabies and bandicoots. Saw-shelled turtles are at home in the dam and occasionally guests may be lucky enough to see a shy platypus.

A daily breakfast basket, delivered to your bungalow the previous afternoon, includes some of over 20 varieties of exotic fruits growing at Daintree Valley Haven - seasonal mangoes, lychees, jakfruit, rambutans, star-fruit, soursops and many more plus home-made jam and yoghurt and locally-grown Daintree tea.

Bring you own supplies for other meals to enjoy in your bungalow or in The Shed with it's barbeque, jacuzzi, dartboard and small library.  Self-cook meals packages, beer, wine and soft drinks are available, or dine out in nearby Daintree Village.

Take a stroll around 30 acres of easy walking tracks, breathe pure air, listen to the silence, drink clear fresh water from an underground spring - rejuvenate!

Your tropical rainforest hideaway lies at the end of the beautiful Stewart Creek Valley, a scenic 10 minute drive from Daintree Village - peace and privacy only a short drive to all the attractions of the Daintree at Cape Tribulation, Mossman Gorge and Port Douglas.
