The Retreat is situated amongst the amazing mixture of plants, vines and trees that make the Daintree Rainforest so unique. Fruit trees, colourful flowers, vines of all shapes and sizes. An incredible variety of birds, lizards, frogs and animals call the Daintree Rainforest home – no fences or cages just watch them, listen for their calls, take photographs and enjoy.
Our rooms are open and welcoming – shutters to allow the flow of breezes, windows to appreciate the forest. Most of our rooms have kitchenettes, and all have outside seating areas. The rooms range in size from Queen Suite rooms catering for up to 2, to twin rooms and family rooms.
Our pool is set amongst palms and is a relaxing way to cool down after your day exploring the rainforest or the reef.
Our reception area has plenty of local information, maps and ideas. We can organise a plan of activities based on your interests that will give you the best chance to enjoy your time in the Rainforest. There are lots of free board walks, beaches and park areas but we can also book you in to paid activities and tours.
