Daintree Siesta provides an affordable family-friendly rainforest haven to stay, relax and enjoy the oldest rainforest in the world with a range of affordable accommodation ranging from powered and unpowered campsites to air-conditioned motel-style cabins for family members who would prefer not to camp.
Our rainforest caravan and campground (powered and unpowered) are on a rainforest loop and caters to tents, campervans, camper trailers, caravans and more. You can enjoy the tranquil environment while cooking in the camp kitchen. Relax by the designated campfire pit. Enjoy a hot - or cold if you want to cool down! - shower and use the laundry facilities. Camp amenities can be used by both campers and motel guests who would like to self-cater.
While staying with us you can explore the rainforest on our private walking trails while spotting endemic rainforest flora and fauna and listen to the sounds while sitting outside your campsite.
Campground facilities include a camp kitchen, washing machines and dryers, toilets, hot showers and drinkable water. Campsites cater to tents, campervans, camper trailers and caravans and are spread out around a peaceful rainforest loop with a variety of sites – some with slabs – in peaceful surrounds.
Please note that check in is from 2pm and check out is at 10am.
Our licenced restaurant serves delicious meals at lunch and dinner (please note closed Saturday, however). We can also help with local tour bookings so you can get the most from your Daintree visit. There is also a selection of games and DVDs available at reception for when you want to take a break from exploring.
Located in Diwan only 30 minutes north of the Car Ferry and 30 minutes south of Cape Tribulation – all sealed road.
